Sweet cherries from the foothills of the Black Forest. Cherries are traditionally cultivated at altitudes of 200 – 300 m. The south-westerly aspect of the slopes affords protection against cold east winds and the slight elevation prevents the fruit from becoming too warm during the ripening period from May to July. Dollenseppler, Schwarze Schüttler and Benjaminler are the main varietals used in our Black Forest Kirsch.
Flavor: Highly-aromatic bouquet of cherries combined with filigree nuances reminiscent of almonds, powerful in the mouth with a harmonious, mild finish.
